Bologna, it's not just a bunch of bologna

So we arrived in Bologna, Italy by train. It was only an hour by high speed train from Florence so it was no time at all. Not to disrespect Bologna but it's only a stop on our trip so we could go to the Lamborghini factory in Modena and the Ferrari Galleria Museum in Maranello. We were only there for a couple of nights.

One night out to dinner I wasn't really feeling pasta or pizza so I ordered the"meat plate". It only said "grilled meat" below so I just went for it. There was filet mignon and t-bone for double the price so I was hoping for the best. This is what came out from the kitchen MUCH to my surprise!
It was a plate with grilled steak, grilled chicken, grilled pork chop, and a slab of grilled sausage patty. So basically the menu couldn't have been much more descriptive. It really was a MEAT PLATE and it all went into my belly!
One of the nights we found a cool Irish pub not far from our hotel. It had no Irish people but 9 times out of 10 there's some good drinking going on inside Irish pubs. We were right, here you can order 4, 6, or 8 liters of beer from the tap in this special container with a spout. We opted for the 4 liter.
4 liters = 132 ounces
132 ounces = 11 cans of beer
We had a long day ahead of us tomorrow so we got to work.
Elaina did a really good job and held her own. I thought I was going to have to do most of the heavy lifting.
Halfway done. The waitress thought it was "so cool" that we were from L.A. She asked us, "You're from L.A. What are you doing here in Bologna?" We just laughed.
Elaina and I putting the final touches on that bad boy.
The cost for 4 liters of beer you ask? It was 16.00 euro ($24usd) not a bad deal if you ask me. The waitress gave us the bill and never came back. I only had a 50 euro bill on me and I wasn't about to leave it all to her so we waited, and waited, and waited. No lie it was like 20 minutes before we just said screw it and walked out. I didn't leave her the 50, we just walked out without paying. It's not like we're ever coming back to Bologna anyways! Good times!!!
