Leaning Tower of Pisa

Pisa's only claim to fame is the leaning tower and it's poor foundation construction so we had to go see it. It was a little out of the way but we would have regretted it if we had left Italy and not visited it. You know what, the tower REALLY leans!
It leans permanetly at 3.9 degrees which is pretty drastic but before 2001 it used to lean at 5.5 degrees. It was straightened and reinforced by engineers for safety reasons.

Everyone knows Elaina and I aren't the cheesy tourist type, so we're not gonna be holding up the tower or pushing it over. So we decided to take pictures of other cheesy tourists.

These two sisters were funny. One was all into it and the other could care less. The younger one was saying, "c'mon you don't even look like you're pushing it. Tell her mom!"
Here's a whole bunch of them doing it. We were cracking up at the people taking the pictures, "lower, move up, okay right there, hold it."
Okay, Robot has a cheesy side too so he wanted a piece of the action pushing the tower over.
Cool shot Elaina took. You can see the tower's reflection in my sunglasses. This is my touristy photo.
And finally, Elaina's touristy photo. You should have seen people staring at her like she was crazy as she laughed with her legs up in the air!
