Venice is a great city and we love the fact that we didn't have to worry about getting hit by a speeding scooter, bus or car.... or even a bicycle! The only thing we needed to be careful of was not falling in any of the canals.
Mike was worried he wouldn't fit down this street to our hotel, I barely made it.
Sweet! we have a little balcony open to the busy street below.
View to the left of our balcony
View to the right of our balcony
Super steep steps to our hotel. We made sure to take our time so we didn't fall and lose any teeth.
Its fun to watch the glass maker create little works of art such as these from Murano glass.
Robot loves Venice
We spent most of our time purposely getting lost in Venice. Its the best way to see the city.
A welcoming piece to have on your front door
Uh oh... we had a slight problem on our journey...
Just duck... problem solved.
I didn't have a problem at all, I had extra room!
Laundry day! I'm on my last pair of clean socks.
Laundry is loaded, now we wait...
Somehow Mike managed to lose a sock, I didn't. The gang's all here!
Mike had to have one, he saw these the first day we were in Venice and couldn't stop talking about them. We made sure to go back and get him one.
He was very happy... he's speechless.
Hmm... Nutcream or yogurt...? Tough decision.
We missed Carnival by one week! I still got mysel a pretty mask.
Mike loves taking advantage of drinking in the streets.
Soto shadows!
Dang it! I liked these socks too. Mom is going to have to get me more socks when I get home.
I got excited to see a display of Tim Burton works in the store window.
The women in the red boat were working hard and moving fast in that thing. They were working off their 'bingo-arms'
When we did laundry my plaid jacket shrunk so I got myself a new jacket.
