Every morning we would enjoy a live show on the street below our balcony. Mike loves the squeeze-box.
I don't know why the heck this ATM was so high. I could barely read the screen.
Spritz Aperol - dry sparkling wine (prosecco), Aperol orange liqueur, and seltzer. Add a green olive for flare.
Long Island Iced Tea and a bendy-straw sitting in Piazza San Marco.
There are pigeons EVERYWHERE in the piazza. They land right in your hand so you can feed them. They're not scared of people at all, they'll even help themselves to your food so you need to keep it close. Robot really wanted to feed the pigeons so we helped him out, 1 euro for a piece of bread from a vendor.
I think Robot is in there somewhere
The food is all gone
Free water to clean my dirty pigeon hands
This is Beams... We think that's her name, when we zoomed in on the piece of fabric in her hand we saw that her name was embroidered on it... It looks like it said BEAMS.
Poor Beams! I wish someone would save her embroidered fabric before it gets ruined, that's a souvenir!
Ponte dei Sospiri, the "Bridge of Sighs"... Its a bummer this structure is cluttered with advertisments.
Mike said "hurry, jump over that chained-off area and sit on the lion!"
Then Mike said "oh! go hide under that lion! Hurry before someone sees you!" Just because I'm small he thinks its funny to make me do tricks.
Robot and a new friend. It's just an apartment call box
More free water
You won't believe your eyes!....
French fries, hot dog, and sausage on a pizza!
Not again! Mom... I'll need more socks when I get home.
Our hotel was right next to Rialto Bridge and next to that is the fish market! It doesn't smell as bad as you think it would. Check out the huge tuna!
Scallops! I know someone who loves these.
Hey! The artichokes arrived! These are for the farmers market next door.
We might as well eat the stuff if its that fresh... the oysters were good.
Octapus salad for a growing girl.
Raw tuna fish in a croissant.. just add mustard and its delicious!
Aww... someone was sad when the oyster missed his mouth.
There.... no one will notice.
A little pink champagne will make him happy... look at that face, he forgot he spilled oyster juice on his shirt.
This place was a total sausage fest!!!
Chocolate Easter eggs big and shiny can be purchased for 30 euro each. Who wants to spend that much on an egg you're going to break yourself anyways? I purchased the broken eggs at 3 euro for 100grams and enjoyed them immediately.
Venice is a great city and we loved it. It's very clean and the people really take care of it. It really is a must see when in Europe. We're going to miss it, now on to Milan. Bring on the crazy bus drivers and the even crazier scooter drivers!!!
